At Brownstone, communication both internally and externally is the foundation of our entire process. From a client portal that lets you see exactly what point your project is up to, to our internal communication with subs, project managers, and site managers, no one is ever caught off guard. We at Brownstone always had our eye on the bigger prize. We are the best at what we do because we’ve spent countless hours working towards the bigger picture – establishing a company that revolutionizes the GC process. Inasmuch as the details matter, they are only the building blocks of a greater vision: A client experience that leaves everyone happy with the process and the final results. This long-range vision enables us to track and plan projects of all sizes, constructing companies and buildings equally successfully.

With all that said, the biggest challenge in the construction industry is communication. We set out on a mission to change that. With David’s passion for communication that’s been instilled into the company, we’ve leveraged technology to allow each site manager to see exactly what’s on deck for the day and week, schedule subs, know which tasks on the checklist are due, and know what the status of each job is. This enables everyone on the team, and especially our clients, to know exactly what’s up. We send out reports before you can even ask for them. Since so much in contracting is about coordinating multiple moving pieces, it’s critical to track the what, who, and when of each component. Thankfully, after years of experience and figuring out how to effectively communicate, we’ve got that down to a science.
Building
Taking an idea from conception to completion is Brownstone’s specialty. Before David built Brownstone, David started as a handyman and built everything from bathrooms to outdoor gardens. David also worked for several subcontractors where he dealt with many different phases of construction. So now, when issues arise, David and the team are not dealing with it from an outsider's view but rather from a boots-on-the-ground perspective. David’s experience allows him to lead the team effectively, and the passion for creating, that gets everyone excited for every job!
